How to nail your Music Festival Outfit
The festivals are back!!!
They say that the weather effects how we feel. More sun provides more fun and more snow takes away the glow.
Nothing compares to the colourful tents and huge sound systems which annoy the residents and fill our hearts with joy. Festival season is amongst us and I couldn't be happier to say hello to the sun and goodbye to the glum.
Lovebox Festival , Victoria Park , 14-15 July 2017
Nothing says disturbing london more than flying in all of your favourite artists and slapping them all in a field somewhere in east London (Victoria Park, to be exact).
With the likes of Solange, Frank Ocean, Chase and Status and Seth Troxler, this festival truly brings people from all walks of life together and really provides an amazing setting to experience what London has to offer in the summertime.
The festival was created by dance power house Groove Armada almost 15 years ago and has quickly moved up the ranks as a festival that brings joy to the soul and can be arguably considered as the best two days in the capital, bringing a great mix of genres and nostalgic activities to bring the big kid out of anyone.
Lovebox just seems to be getting bigger and better every year and they have pulled out all of the stops to compete against local favourites, The British Summertime ball and the almighty Wireless Festival, and cement themselves as a heavyweight in everyone's summer to do list
Parklife Festival , Heaton Park, 10th - 11th June 2017
If you haven't got your ticket, I suggest you find one. These are the two days that everyone is looking forward too. From Boy Better Know to A tribe Called Quest, Damien Marley to Chaka Kahn, Parklife festival brings the past, present and future together to create a musical escape, driven by an electric atmosphere which will keep you energised for the whole weekend.
A relatively new festival only running for the last 7 years, Parklife now exceeds over 70,000 people each day, making it one of the most talked about events of the year. An established date in the calendar for house and techno lovers, the festival has quickly drawn in international recognition and now invites a host of A-list musicians and the most recognised Dj' from around the world. Parklife now offers an eclectic array of musicians from genres such as soul, hip hop and indie to name a few and leaves a smile on everyone's face (even if the weather hasn't held up in past years).
This is one is one not to be missed.
